NATIONAL CONVENTION & LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Because of your generous support, more than 400 collegiate and alumnae members experienced keynote messages at the 2026 National Convention & Leadership Conference in Richmond, VA. Topics included the power of female friendships and how to support leadership growth.
BEHIND HAPPY FACES MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM
Due to donor support, all collegiate members, advisors and region volunteers receive training on mental health and wellness. Donors have fully funded this program since its inception in 2020. A module on conflict resolution was added to the program this fall.
EMMA COLEMAN FROST LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE
In the summer of 2025, more than 350 collegiate members attended LDI at one of three locations. Through large and small group conversations, participants gained tools and motivation to make positive contributions as leaders in their chapters, on their campuses and in their communities. LDI is returning in Pittsburgh and Kansas City in 2027.

What is Joyously Give?
Joyously Give is the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation’s annual day of giving that will be held on Oct. 23-24, 2026. The event will run for 1,901 minutes in honor of the Sorority’s founding year. Together, members will help celebrate 40 years of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation by making gifts that continue to elevate the influence of women in the world.
Who should participate in Joyously Give?
All members—collegiate and alumnae—are encouraged to participate in Joyously Give. Friends and family are also welcome to give in honor of an Alpha Sigma Alpha woman in their life. Collegiate members can join the 1901 Society with a gift of $19.01 or more and receive an exclusive 1901 dangle.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes! All donations to the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. All online donors will receive an electronic receipt at the time the gift is made. Donors who give $1,000 or more throughout the calendar year are sent a summary of their annual giving for tax-purposes in January 2027. The Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation’s Tax ID number is: 43-1430061.
What Is my gift used for?
Gifts to the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation provide financial support for many of the Sorority's educational programs including Emma Coleman Frost Leadership Development Institute, National Convention & Leadership Conference, Behind Happy Faces and more.
These initiatives elevate the influence of women in the world by providing educational opportunities for all members. The Foundation also supports individual educational goals of our members by providing undergraduate and graduate scholarships.
Unless otherwise specified, gifts made through Joyously Give will benefit the Annual Fund. Gifts to the Annual Fund have the biggest impact on our organization as they allow flexibility to ensure your contribution is used where and when it is needed most.
